Soo homemade ice cream, farm stands, ukuleles, goats, corn, berry fields, bouquets of flowers with bees and ants mound that crawled up Lindsay’s leg in the shoot.. Also Lindsay’s and Tom’s cute J crew look… A beautiful day for a great couple who are getting married next year. The North Fork of Long Island has a wonderful variety of locations to get a perfect laid back shoot!

“We love going out to the North Fork during all seasons, to enjoy the farm stands, pick fresh fruit
or pumpkins, go wine tasting, or just take a beautiful drive. We wanted to take our engagement
photos in a place that is meaningful to us as well as scenic and fun! We thought the ice cream
shop and farm stand provided the perfect opportunity for us to relax and enjoy the shoot, while
also taking beautiful, whimsical photographs. This playful but romantic aspect is something we
wanted to have come out in the pictures, and Laura Ryan captured this perfectly!
On how to plan your engagement shoot …
“Choose a place that allows you to be yourselves and captures who you are as a couple. Don’t be
afraid to do something different and talk to your photographer about potential ideas. They are a
great resource and know the area well!”
“We really loved getting the most out of our location, in that there were so many interesting
backdrops, buildings, and props to incorporate, which made it a very fun experience. We also
brought our ukuleles, which we used in several shots, because we both enjoy music and playing
ukulele and guitar together, and this helped us to relax during the shoot.”

Fantastic photos What a beautiful couple! Love the scenery chosen relevant to so many of us native Long Islanders…By far, superior to so many other photos featured in other bridal magazines/showcases. I can only imagine how this young couple’s actual wedding day photos will turn out..I’m staying tuned! (They should seriously consider modeling in the future..Listening J Crew??)
