Sean and Kara were married a week after Hurricane Sandy. Sean and Kara get ready where their family lived, long where Sean’s family is located on the very south shore of Massapequa right on the water. The streets were lined with the residue from the sea along with homes with no working electricty. Everyone was a trooper and we got some amazing photos and we all had gas for our cars!! Timberpoint had no flood damage to the building so Kara and Sean had luck on their side. Here are some details from the couple :
Gown – Vineyard from Priscilla’s of Boston, and the veil was from Brideshead Revisited. Bridesmaids’ dresses- Lela Rose and Dessy.
Tuxes – Ralph Lauren from Sal’s Tuxedos.
“We got the cake from The Rolling Pin Bakery, and the cake topper was my parents’ from their wedding 35 years ago! “
Band : Rhapsody,
Florist: Tina from A Perfect Rose “was our amazing florist. “
“We highly recommend all of the vendors we used.”
“Our favorite part of the wedding was when all of our guests joined us on the dance floor during our first dance, and we were able to see loved ones from all parts of our lives together around us. Our first look outside by the water was also very special for us!”
