I had a lot of fun photographing Bobby and Angela’s wedding. We had some iffy weather and it was supposed to be a 10000 degrees, but the weather held out for us. I really loved Angela’s two piece dress and I am seeing the two piece dress as a big trend this year. This wedding had some fun unique formals, we did a lot of the shots on the side of the church with the brick wall, which always has unique potential.
While photographing Bobby, I was thinking ” who does he remind me of? “ Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode. I probably sounded crazy as I said this to him, but he does.
We then headed over to the Kings Park train station, this was so much fun and a first for using a LIRR stop as a photo background… it worked beautifully.. I pulled out the wide angle lens for these shots.
I was very excited to see the new room at the Fox Hollow, it is beautifully done, mostly white with beautiful wall sculptures. Perfect to bounce light off of and a photographers ideal dream for shooting.
Bobby is a professional Hockey player, so take notice the awesome cake toppers, with Angela being his #1 fan and Bobby holding onto his hockey stick. The added bonus here also is the awesome place cards of hockey pucks for the guests..
Here are some added notes from the Bride Angela –
“SO incredibly hard to choose just one favorite part of our special day! Everything was so much fun and so exciting! We had an incredible day filled with laughter and love. However, I do LOVE dancing…so having the chance to party and dance it up with my friends and family was a blast 🙂 :)”
