The last wedding of 2012, Dina and Nico planned their beautiful nuptials at one of my favorite locations, de Seversky. Since the sun went down at 4:30pm we had to be creative with the way we shot the outside shots. Christina and Ryan's original wedding venue Old Field Club was affected by Hurricane Sandy. There was no electricty in the venue and they were pushed to pick a new venue in a short amount of time. They had to move the date over by a couple of days and I was happy to still be able to shoot their wedding due to the fact the date changed. Most wedding venues were booked up, they settled on Lombardi's on the Bay. It wasn't exactly a barnyard style wedding that Christina and Ryan wanted but they made do with they had and...

Sean and Kara were married a week after Hurricane Sandy. Sean and Kara get ready where their family lived, long where Sean's family is located on the very south shore of Massapequa right on the water. The streets were lined with the residue from the sea along with homes with no working electricty. Everyone was a trooper and we got some amazing photos and we all had gas for our cars!!
