References to Arrested development, their cat, Parks and Rec were some of the most amazing things about this wedding.. Heather and Mike thank you for allowing me to capture your day at the most awesome Museum of Moving Image.
Heather: “ I’d like to say the best feeling of the entire day was finally taking my heels off! But honestly there were a million favorite parts and personal touches that made the entire wedding a dream come true. The ceremony complete with a starry-night time-lapse, our cat Sassy’s personalized vows, and Star Wars throne room music, dancing to Over the Rainbow by Ingrid Michaelson (a favorite song from childhood), my memorial bouquet to my parents so they could walk me down the aisle, our Mad Man inspired slideshow in the Tut’s Fever movie palace (courtesy of my talented new Husband), eating french toast for dessert, the amazing Upright Citizens Brigade inspired card box made by my now brother-in-law (it’s where we met!), and singing to Nothings Gonna stop us Now by Starship at the top of my lungs! We both loved seeing everyone’s reactions to all the exhibits and watching them geek out at every turn! The best thing decision we ever made was to keep it personal and do what made us happy…because at the end of the day, it’s your day! Make it as fun as humanely possible and throw tradition out the window. “
