Ready for my last session of 2009? I went to China Town in NYC with Christina and Bryan. I love the colorful look of China Town, the shops, food, etc made a great backdrop for the shoot. We stopped at a gaming store, their favorite restaurant and took some really fun shots. I forgot to mention this was the day hours before that horrible snow storm hit NY, we got out of there just in the nick of time... While we were shooting I found out they love gaming, ps3, x box wooooo, so do I :)

Alison and Tim was a pleasure to have as my last wedding in 2009. Brooklyn Botanical Gardens was absolutely beautiful. I loved Alison's dress and her gloves, she also changed into a awesome layered dress later in the day with a sweet french cage veil and ruffled heels. The music, let me tell you about the music. They used Forever Young by Alphaville as their first dance song and the Smiths, The Cure and Depeche Mode followed through the rest of the wedding. Dress #2 = Awesome

Rebeca and Martin were my wedding photography winners from a contest I had in 2008. The were married on a lovely October day in Boston. Can I just tell you how much I loved this wedding? Rebeca's dress and Martin's coat was handmade by her friend who created it for her from a 1950's pattern. The dress designer work can be seen here http://www.storiedthreads.com This dress is definitely my favorite of the 2009 season. I would wear it in a heartbeat. Rebeca also made her hairpiece herself! The wedding had a ol' English teatime theme, everyone had to wear stylish...

I want to wish everyone a happy holidays. I am already having a great Christmas eve, eating some amazing chocolate and watching some fun movies with the family night. Its fun celebrating my first Christmas with my Husband in my new house, putting up a tree, and making tons of food :) I had a lot of fun making paper ornaments with my friends the other day by using old biography books from the 1950s, try it out ..
