West Sayville Country Club is one of those wedding locations that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I got married here back in 2007 and have photographed here many, many times. ( I especially loved the location for its vintage flair and sophistication)
The location is unbelievable for a Long Island South Shore Wedding location. The house built in 1909 has a beautiful exterior details. The interior of the location has a vintage feel and flair with it, with a cascading staircase, a vintage style bridal suite and two large fireplaces. The dance floor is separate from the main dining room which may worry some people, but I remember my guests loved that concept. The service and food is fantastic, Steve Braun the manager at this location really does wonders and makes his client feel fantastic along with treating vendors with respect. There are plenty of great and beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos. Ceremony wise you have so many options, under the big oak tree, facing the water, the Maritime museum. The Maritime museum is my favorite location next door to WSCC. This location is a little newer, founded in 1966 and comprised of 9 different buildings. My favorite building is the Frank F. Penney boatshop which again is a fantastic location for your wedding photos and a fantastic view of the great south bay when the sun is going down.
